Canada Cartage’s Direct-to-Home service delivers a variety of different products. Due to their size, appliances are a common item delivered by Canada Cartage’s Direct-to-Home service. Appliance delivery is performed from a Customer’s regional distribution center or it can be integrated with one or more of Canada Cartage’s regionally located Direct Distribution Centers (DDC) to facilitate a more cost-effective and timely delivery solution.

CUSTOMER PROFILE:

Whirlpool sells appliances to Customers. Direct-to-Home (Canada Cartage) delivers appliances to a residential location or building site.


1. Order is placed
with Vendor.
2. Vendor confirms order details, including delivery date to Canada Cartage. 3. Inventory is confirmed in Direct Distribution Centre. Stock replenishment usually within a 24-48 hours time frame. 4. Canada Cartage prepares the Driver’s manifest. 5. Direct Distribution assembles/stages order for shipping. 6. Product is delivered to customer. 7. Web portal is updated with delivery status. KPI and Billing information is exchanged.
