Canada Cartage’s Direct-to-Home service delivers a variety of different products. Due to their size, appliances are a common item delivered by Canada Cartage’s Direct-to-Home service. Appliance delivery is performed from a Customer’s regional distribution center or it can be integrated with one or more of Canada Cartage’s regionally located Direct Distribution Centers (DDC) to facilitate a more cost-effective and timely delivery solution. |
CUSTOMER PROFILE:
Whirlpool sells appliances to Customers. Direct-to-Home (Canada Cartage) delivers appliances to a residential location or building site.

with Vendor. |
2. Vendor confirms order details, including delivery date to Canada Cartage. |
3. Inventory is confirmed in Direct Distribution Centre. Stock replenishment usually within a 24-48 hours time frame. |
4. Canada Cartage prepares the Driver’s manifest. |
5. Direct Distribution assembles/stages order for shipping. |
6. Product is delivered to customer. |
7. Web portal is updated with delivery status. KPI and Billing information is exchanged. |
